For more than 50 years already the VECTA as a branch organisation guards the professional ethics of the top of the Dutch event- and entertainment companies. The VECTA maintains both the collective as well as the individual social and legal interests of its members. Clients of VECTA members can appeal to the VECTA-fund to make sure any damage caused by postponement, cancellation or premature ending of the event will be compensated.

What is the VECTA?
The VECTA, Association of organisers of events, concerts and theatre productions is a well known branch organisation for companies who develop activities for events, concerts and theatre. Also concerning the mediation between artists and musicians. The VECTA was founded in 1956 with the soul purpose of taking care of the interests of the entertainment industry in general and in particular of its members. The VECTA logo stands for professionalism, quality and reliability.

De Association
The VECTA is an independent association with members. The VECTA is a government approved branch organisation and is a member of MKB-Nederland. The VECTA is also a member of the EventPlatform. The EventPlatform is an independent platform for organisations which members are active in the area of organising assemblies and events with a (businesslike) objective. The board is appointed by members. The board determines the policy.

The VECTA initiated the VECTA-fund. Through this fund members can guarantee their clients more security by applying for a Vecta Fund Certificate. For more information please see Vecta Garantiefonds..
